SEATTLE — A car crashed into a Seattle pot shop early Thursday as part of another smash-and-grab burglary.
Officers were called to the Seattle Cannabis Co. on Rainier Avenue South near South Othello Street at around 3 a.m. for a report of a burglary.
Police arrived to find a car crashed into the business.
The car that was used to break into the store appears to have been stolen because its ignition was punched out, according to Seattle Police Det. Judinna Gulpan.
Video from the scene showed damage to the front of the store with crumbling bricks and part of a roll-up door, car parts, and debris on the ground.
The car used to crash into the shop was towed away, but its entire bumper was left behind.
The amount of merchandise stolen from the store has yet to be determined.
