Car crashes into entrance of Kent pumpkin patch after driver shot in hand

KENT, Wash. — A driver said a gunshot wound caused them to crash their car into the entrance of a pumpkin patch in Kent Monday morning.

At 7:40 a.m., King County Sheriff’s Office deputies received a call from a victim who said they had been shot in the hand while driving, which caused them to crash outside Carpinito Brothers Farm in the 27700 block of 68th Avenue South.

Deputies arrived and found the victim, who was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

No suspects are in custody.
