Car fire spreads to home in South Beacon Hill

SEATTLE — Seattle Fire Department crews spent the morning battling a car fire that spread to a home in South Beacon Hill. Luckily, no injuries were reported.

Firefighters first responded to the single-family residence structure fire at around 3:30 a.m. on Thursday.

They were able to put water on the fire quickly, knocking down the flames.

According to SFD crews, the fire had started in a car and extended to the house.

By 4 a.m., firefighters had the blaze under control, and just minutes later, the fire was extinguished.

Firefighters monitored for hot spots throughout the morning and reported no injuries following primary and secondary searches of the home.
