Car hits, kills 70-year-old woman walking in Redmond

A 70-year-old woman is dead after a car hit her in Redmond on Friday morning.

She was jaywalking when hit, and the driver stayed at the scene to speak with authorities, police said.

Crews are investigating on Avondale Road, where all southbound lanes are shut down. They've since reopened.
