Caught on camera: Security tackles man at Seattle QFC

SEATTLE — KIRO 7 obtained video showing security taking down a man inside a Seattle QFC on Monday night.

The takedown occurred at the University Village store, where a security guard got on top of the man and began swinging.

It is unclear what led to the incident.

KIRO 7 reached out to QFC, which responded and said the video of the guards was disturbing.

KIRO 7 was told that the guards are employed by a third-party security company.

A store spokesperson said, “We have taken immediate action and the security guards shown are no longer allowed to work at any of our locations. Additionally, we are reaffirming our processes and escalation procedures.”
