TACOMA, Wash. — A 1-year-old suffered minor injuries after falling out of a second-story window in Tacoma, police said.

The incident happened after 3 p.m. in the 5000 block of South J Street.

Police said two young children were sitting on a window sill and a 1-year-old pressed against the sill and fell out.

It was “purely accidental,” said Tacoma police spokesperson Wendy Haddow.

The child is expected to be OK.
