TACOMA, Wash. — The city of Tacoma announced it is offering free drive-thru coronavirus testing at the Tacoma Dome as part of a partnership with QFC and Fred Meyer.
To get a test, you have to register online or call 1-888-852-2567. To determine if you are eligible, you have to complete a virtual screening tool based on CDC guidelines.
Tests are available from May 19 to 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Tacoma Dome, located at 2727 E D Street.
Patients stay in their cars and complete the test using a self-administered nasal swab kit. Results are available in 48 hours.
Estimated capacity for the site is about 250 vehicles per day.
