SEATTLE — Classes at Franklin High School are canceled for a second day in a row, this time for staffing issues.
The school was closed Wednesday due to a social media threat.
Seattle Public Schools said classes were canceled Thursday due to an unexpected shortage of teachers. The day will be made up at the end of the school year.

SPS said if the rate of staff absences is the same or increases for Friday, classes will need to be canceled that day as well.
“We apologize to our students and families. You deserve consistency and predictability,” the district said in a statement.
