BELLEVUE, BOTHELL, LAKE FOREST PARK and REDMOND, Wash. — At least four convenience stores in King County were hit by armed robbers within a 90-minute span Tuesday morning.

The first happened at a 7-Eleven in the 5000 block of 148th Avenue Northeast in Redmond at about 1:35 a.m.

Two young men, described as being 18 to 20 years old, entered the store, pointed a gun at an employee and a customer, took cash, and left, according to Redmond Police.

One of the men was wearing a red jacket, blue jeans, white shoes, and a black mask. The second suspect was wearing a gray jacket, black pants, black shoes, and a black mask.

Less than an hour later, there was a robbery at a 7-Eleven in Bellevue’s Overlake area.

Two young men, possibly teens, pulled out guns and demanded cash.

They got away with cash and nicotine products, according to Bellevue Police. The robbers walked away after the robbery.

Next, a Bothell 7-Eleven in the 14500 block of Juanita Woodinville Way Northeast was robbed.

Police said the store clerk had not yet called 911 when a Bothell Police officer arrived to check on the business.

In that incident, the clerk said a gun was pointed at his head. He told officers two men, both armed with pistols and wearing ski masks that covered their faces, were the suspects. A clerk said he recognized the robber in the red jacket from surveillance video from the Redmond store.

Workers said they believe the suspects in the Bellevue robbery came to the Bothell 7-Eleven after leaving the Bellevue store.

The men demanded cash and then left.

In Lake Forest Park, two young armed robbers held up a Chevron shortly after 3 a.m.

A Lake Forest Park Police lieutenant said, “The MO is the same as the other cities,” and that they are likely the same suspects.

The robberies are under investigation.
