EDMONDS, Wash. — An on-duty Edmonds police officer was involved in a collision with a suspected impaired driver, police said.
Authorities closed 212th Street, between 77th Place West and 80th Avenue West, while they investigated.
Both the officer and the driver were taken to Harborview Medical Center to be checked for injuries.
Authorities did not say what led to the crash.
The investigation was turned over to Lynnwood police.
