KENMORE, Wash. — A crew on Friday dug up the backyard of a Kenmore home of a 27-year-old woman who hasn't been seen for a month.
Jamie Haggard was last seen June 8. She was reported missing on June 17.
King County deputies say there has been no activity within her bank accounts, credit cards or cellphone.
Deputies were at the home Friday, to dig up the home's backyard where there had been a hole.
Deputies finished their search Friday night and did not find remains, but said their investigation will continue.
"At one point in the last month, there was a hole in the backyard intended for a water feature, that has been filled in. So we also are going to be excavating the hole to determine if there's any remains in there," King County Sheriff's Office spokesman B.J. Myers said.
Investigators are collecting dirt and looking for evidence as deputies are talking with family and friends in the house.
Haggard has lived at the house for about three months.
Police are also canvassing the neighborhood and are searching the home and vehicles.
Haggard is known to frequent King and Snohomish counties.
Her father, Lee Haggard, said his daughter's disappearance is "an emptiness I can't explain."
Haggard said his daughter had been living in the Kenmore house for a few months with her brother and her boyfriend.
Jamie Haggard also has twin daughters who live with their father.
"She is very well loved and it's just not like her. It's not like Jamie to just disappear and not call her family," Lee Haggard said.
