ISSAQUAH, Wash. — Crews are working to control a brush fire near Issaquah Monday afternoon.
The fire happened in a wooded area between Cedar Hills and Maple Hills, just south of Issaquah.
Eastside Fire and Rescue officials said the fire spread from one to two acres, and as of 6:30 p.m. the brush was over 30 acres.
The fire has burned trees and thick brush.
At about 3:30 p.m., crews disengaged from the fire due to its proximity to the power lines.
