Radio host and former child star Danny Bonaduce announced Friday that he’s taking a medical leave from his morning radio show in Seattle.

Bonaduce is the current host of “The Danny Bonaduce & Sarah Morning Show” on 102.5 KZOK FM in Seattle.

In a tweet from his official account, Bonaduce wrote, “Some news to share. I’m taking a temporary medical leave from my radio show. I’ll share more when I know more. I’m still working towards receiving a diagnosis. What I know is, I need time to focus on my health. I love my job and talking to you guys & I’ll be back on the air soon.”

Bonaduce included a picture of himself with a cane in his tweet.

He added: “Charlie Chaplin. Willy Wonka. Danny Bonaduce. I’ve joined the club of cool guys with canes.”

According to KZOK, Sarah will continue to host the show in Bonaduce’s absence.

On Sunday, Bonaduce posted a screenshot from his sister’s Facebook account.

Celia Bonaduce said Bonaduce’s illness is truly a mystery, adding his balance “super sucks” and Seattle doctors are still working to determine why.
