LAKE STEVENS, Wash. — An investigation is underway after a motorcyclist was killed in a collision involving another vehicle on Monday night, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
Around 10 p.m., deputies responded to reports of the collision in the 13600 block of 84th Street Northeast.
The motorcyclist, a 33-year-old man, died before deputies arrived at the scene.
The driver and passenger of the other vehicle involved in the collision, who were both juvenile males, were transported to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett with non-life-threatening injuries.
Detectives with the office’s Collision Investigation Unit, who also responded to the scene, are still working to determine the cause of the crash, but say they believe speed may have been a contributing factor.
The roadway was closed for several hours on Monday night while detectives investigated the crash.
