The King County Sheriff’s office is looking for possible additional victims of a man charged with second-degree rape.
Tedgy Wright, 25, met women on social media and dating websites, said deputies who are “urging additional victims to come forward to police to report any time of similar incidents.”
Wright was charged in June with rape, first-degree robbery and second-degree assault after allegedly choking and raping a 31-year-old woman at his apartment in Skyway, part of unincorporated King County. Prosecutors said he pistol whipped and threatened to kill the woman before stealing more than $1,000 from her.
Wright is a felon who is ordered not to have a gun. His criminal history includes convictions for promoting prostitution, attempted robbery and domestic violence assault.

In another June case, prosecutors say one of Wright’s victims called 911 crying and screaming that he had a gun and was going to kill her. Police were told they met on the dating site Plenty of Fish.
In that case, Wright is alleged to have pulled the 26-year-old woman by her hair and slammed her into a wall after consensual sex. He then punched the woman in the face and confronted her with a handgun, according to charging documents. The woman tried to get help from a neighbor and called 911.
In a May theft case, prosecutors say he stole more than $2,000 worth of jewelry from Empire Pawn shop at 125 Central Avenue in Kent.
Wright has been in King County Jail since June 20 in lieu of $665,000 bail.
Sheriff’s spokesman Sgt. Ryan Abbott said investigators are encouraging any additional victims to contact police.
