PARKLAND, Wash. — Pierce County detectives are trying to identify a suspect who fired a shot during a robbery of a Parkland 7-Eleven store.
It happened at the store at 138th and Pacific Avenue at 4:33 a.m. Tuesday. The clerk was not hurt.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic or black man, 20-30 years old, about 5-feet five-inches tall and 150 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black shoes and a light-colored surgical-type mask.
Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect is asked to call Pierce County detectives or
text a tip anonymously to Crime Stoppers using the ‘P3 Tips’ app on your smartphone.
