KING COUNTY, Wash. — Deputies with the King County Sheriff’s Department are searching for a man who they say robbed a marijuana dispensary at gunpoint Saturday night in Skyway.
The armed robbery happened just before 9 p.m. at Canna Republic, previously known as Green Life Dispensary, deputies said. The dispensary is located in the 11400 block of Rainier Avenue South.
Deputies said the man tied up an employee’s hands, took marijuana and money and fled the scene.
The man was said to be wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, a mask and gloves during the armed robbery.
Deputies said a K9 unit was brought in to search but was unable to find the man.
Nobody else was in the store during the armed robbery and the employee was uninjured, deputies said.
