Dog thrown off I-90 overpass in Factoria

FACTORIA, Wash. — Bellevue Police responded to a call that a dog was thrown off the I-90 overpass in Factoria on March 22.

According to Bellevue police, the unidentified woman was out walking her two dogs when she fell and broke her arm.

One of the dogs, Hazel, ran off and couldn’t be located.

A woman and her 14-year-old daughter were out walking and saw what they thought was cardboard falling onto the freeway, then realized it was an animal.

At that distance, they were unable to see or identify a suspect.

While at the hospital for her broken arm, the dog owner received a call that Hazel had been found with severe injuries.

She filed a report with the police, noting her dog could not have jumped over the barrier.
