Dozens of evidence markers at scene of incident at Kent motel

KENT, Wash. — Police have been at a Kent motel for hours investigating what may have been a shooting early Tuesday.

Officers have been at the Kent Valley Motel at 743 Central Avenue North, since about 1:30 a.m.

Video from the scene shows dozens of evidence markers scattered across the parking lot and in front of an upstairs motel room.

There are numerous officers there but they declined to provide us with information about the investigation.

We’ve made numerous calls to staff at the Kent Police Department and are waiting to hear back about what happened.
