A man is in custody after the car he was driving left the roadway and hit a tent with people inside in Tacoma on Friday, the Tacoma Police Department announced.
The crash happened in the area of 1800 South 82nd Street, police said.
Two people are being evaluated for injuries.
Drivers are being asked to avoid the area. Tacoma police are investigating the scene.
