Driver dies in single-car crash in Bellevue

BELLEVUE, Wash. — Man dies in a single-car crash in Bellevue Saturday night.

According to Bellevue Police, around 5:04 p.m. on Saturday, police answered calls about a car crash on Bel-Red Road between 140th Avenue Northeast and 140th Avenue Northeast.

When police arrived, they found a single car involved in a crash.

Bellevue Police said that the 20-year-old driver was declared deceased on the scene.

Police closed the road for around seven hours while police conducted their investigation.

The driver was the only person in the car.

Bellevue PD does not suspect the driver was impaired or that there was foul play.

No information was available on what led to the crash.
