FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — A driver died Tuesday evening in a crash in Federal Way, police said.
After 5:15 p.m., officers responded to a report of a serious injury crash involving two vehicles in the 37300 block of Pacific Highway South.
According to investigators, the driver of a pickup truck that was pulling a utility trailer stopped to make a left turn when another pickup truck crashed into the rear of the trailer.
Police said the driver of the second pickup truck died as a result of the injuries he sustained.
The cause of the collision has yet to be determined, but impairment is not believed to be a contributing factor, investigators said.
Police are continuing to investigate the crash.
