The driver of a stolen car crashed on Interstate 405 and fought with a responding officer Tuesday afternoon, according to the Washington State Patrol.
According to Trooper Rick Johnson, a Bellevue officer attempted to stop a car for no plates.
The suspected driver drove off, and the officer did not attempt to chase them.
As the officer continued southbound on I-405, they came across the crashed car near Northeast 44th Street.
There was an altercation after the driver exited the car, but the driver was taken into custody.
According to the WSP, the car was reported stolen.
