The Lacey Fire Department is reminding people to clean their lint traps and vents because dryer lint is very flammable.
Lacey Fire tweeted on Saturday that there are more than 10,000 dryer fires reported each year, with that five deaths, 100 injuries, and $35 million in property loss.
They recommend cleaning lint traps after every load and vents annually, at least.
