At least six vehicles, including one semi-truck, have crashed on I-90 in Adams County as a dust storm blocks visibility and completely closes the road to traffic.
According to Washington State Patrol Trooper Sergeant Jerry Walker, one crash involved a truck hauling a boat. During the crash, Walker said the boat detached from the truck’s trailer and is now on the highway.

The trooper told KIRO 7 it was impossible to see anything in the dust storm, and WSP was on the scene looking for additional crashes. So far, no injuries have been reported.

The National Weather Service issued a dust storm warning for the county at 4 pm. According to NWS, the storm creates life-threatening travel conditions.
