Eastbound I-90 at North Bend has reopend after crews closed it due to multiple spinouts, the Washington State Department of Transportation reported Friday.
WSDOT had tweeted that there were many wrecks from Snoqualmie Pass to the Tri-Cities.
Those driving were asked to slow down and drive according to the weather conditions.
Chains are required for drivers going in both directions.
The National Weather Service in Seattle said it will continue to snow into Saturday and said, “if you must travel, be prepared for delays and snow on the roadways!”
Washington State Patrol reported around 2:30 p.m. that the weather conditions on Interstate 82 through the Yakima Valley was getting worse by the minute.
