Eddie Vedder, the Seattle rock icon and lead singer of the band Pearl Jam, will be performing later this month in a global digital broadcast to support front-line health care workers and the World Health Organization.

Vedder, along with David Beckham, Elton John, John Legend, Lady Gaga, Lizzo, Paul McCartney and others, will be making an appearance in the "One World: Together At Home" telecast.

The one-night special is a call for collective action to stop the COVID-19 pandemic.

The special will be live at 5 p.m. on April 18.
