Woodland Park Zoo has announced its 41st annual ZooTunes concert series, featuring a diverse lineup of musical acts from Elvis Costello to Japanese Breakfast.
The BECU ZooTunes, presented by Carter Subaru, kicks off June 12 with Elvis Costello & The Imposters with Charlie Sexton and concludes Sept. 2 and 3 with Japanese Breakfast w/Ginger Root. Other performers include Devo, Ben Harper, Wilco, Gillian Welch & David Rawlings, Regina Spektor, Waxahatchee, Men I Trust, and Trampled by Turtles/Shakey Graves.
Concerts take place on the zoo’s North Meadow. Gates open at 4:30 p.m., with music starting at 6:00 p.m., rain or shine.
Tickets go on sale Feb. 14 at 10:00 a.m. online only at www.zoo.org/zootunes or Etix.com. Zoo admission is not included with concert tickets.
The zoo encourages purchasing tickets through official channels to avoid counterfeit issues.
ZooTunes is a fundraising event benefiting the zoo’s animal care, conservation programs, and environmental education.
