A pickup truck fire on the Boston Street Bridge in Tumwater temporarily closed all lanes of traffic Sunday evening.
Tumwater Fire units were responded to the scene at 5:04 p.m. and arrived five minutes later to find the truck ablaze.
Crews extinguished the fire within six minutes, ensuring the safety of the bridge and surrounding area.
Tumwater Police provided traffic control during the incident, and Tumwater Public Works arrived afterward to clean up fuel that had spilled onto the roadway.
The fire was attributed to an unspecified engine problem. No injuries were reported.
The bridge was reopened shortly after the cleanup was completed.
