LAKEWOOD, Wash. — Residents near Fort Steilacoom Park may now safely return to their homes, said Lakewood Police.

Residents were being asked to evacuate for a large brush fire that started Wednesday afternoon.

The three-alarm fire was at Fort Steilacoom Park in Lakewood.
