EVERETT, Wash. — Crews with the Everett Fire Department responded to reports of an explosion at a hotel in Everett that injured two people around 12:45 p.m. on Monday.
The explosion occurred 3105 Pine St, Everett, WA 98201. 3105 Pine St. is located east of Everett Station and South of Judd & Black Park.
Officials said the explosion started after a butane canister came into contact with a candle inside a hotel room where a man and woman were staying. The victims were transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with non-life threatening injuries.
