Fans are getting ready for the 110th Apple Cup.
The Huskies are favored to win and have won the last four Apple Cups in a row.
This year, fans told KIRO-7 they expect it to be a closer game.
"I think it will be close. I think it will be a nail-biter," said Butch Ernest, who flew in from Sacramento with his wife to go to the game.
"I think it will be insane. I think it will be fun. I think it will be crazy," said Callie Ernest, already wearing her WSU crimson and gray as she walked the Seattle Waterfront Friday.
WSU is ranked 14th; UW is ranked 15th. If WSU wins, it will give them the Pac-12 North Title and they'd get to play USC for the Pac-12 championship.
Husky fans are hopeful the Dawgs can block WSU's chance at the Pac-12 North Title.
"We're super-psyched and we do have a rivalry because our friends are here from Spokane and they're WSU fans and we're Husky fans. It's going to be a good party tomorrow and a good game," said Kelli Sullivan from Maple Valley, who was buying UW socks at the University Bookstore with her daughter, Karen.
Larry Kalahiki graduated from UW and was picking out a new Husky pullover to wear during the game.
"The Apple Cup is about tradition. You bring everybody home, everybody comes home to watch the game," said Kalahiki.
The annual cross-state rivalry game will be played at Husky Stadium on Saturday at 5 p.m.
