FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — A 13-year-old boy who was reported missing on June 5 was found safe on Sunday evening, according to the Federal Way Police Department.
Police had sought the public’s help in finding Cadence Sellers and identifying an unknown man whom they believe he might have associated with.
According to police, Sellers was seen at the Target in Tukwila near Westfield Southcenter on Monday, June 6, at around 8:30 p.m. Security footage showed that he might have been associated with an unidentified Black man.
Sellers was located in Tacoma on Sunday evening and is safe, according to the police.
Detectives will continue to investigate his whereabouts during the week he was missing, as well as why he left.
