SNOHOMISH, Wash. — A fire broke out at Snohomish High School Saturday night.

Shortly after 10 p.m., crews from Snohomish Fire District 4 were called to the school at 1316 Fifth Street after a fire alarm sounded.

The first crew to arrive quickly found flames on the first floor of one of the campus buildings along with heavy smoke throughout the building.

The call was upgraded to a full response commercial fire, which brought help from other fire departments.

Fire District 4 crews quickly put out the fire while other crews began clearing out the smoke and checking for any additional or hidden fire.

No one was hurt.

There is so far no estimate for the cost of damages.

The county fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
