SEATTLE — A fire burned townhomes under construction in Seattle’s Wallingford neighborhood.
The fire in the 4200 block of Winslow Place North was called out at about 5:25 a.m. Thursday.
Seattle fire said when firefighters arrived, the three-story townhomes were well-involved in flames. Crews fought the flames defensively from the outside.
When a KIRO 7 News crew arrived at about 5:50 a.m., the fire was under control.
Because the townhomes were not still under construction, no one was inside.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
