SEATTLE — A fire ripped through a house in West Seattle overnight.
Firefighters were called to the home on 41st Avenue Southwest at about 3 a.m. Friday.
There was heavy fire and smoke throughout the home and downed lines outside.
Fire officials said the man inside the burning home made it out safely and went to warn his neighbors.
"He was able to leave his house on his own. He went to his neighbor’s house on the north, told them their house was on fire on one side, and helped get them out,” said Hilton Almond with Seattle fire.
No one was hurt.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
