MONROE, Wash. — A fire with explosions woke a neighborhood outside the city of Monroe Saturday night, authorities with the Snohomish County Fire District said.
At about 9:23 p.m. firefighters were called to the 25200 block of Cromwell Road for a fully-involved house fire.
Neighbors who saw the flames ran over to make sure everyone was out, firefighters said.
Officials said that when crews arrived, they found the back of the home in flames and heard a small explosion. They said people reported hearing explosions before the crews came.
Fire crews got the fire under control and kept it from spreading.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
