Firefighters rescue two people from high water in Snohomish

SNOHOMISH, Wash. — Snohomish County Fire District #4 says it rescued two people from high water underneath an overpass near Old Snohomish Monroe Road.

Water rescue happened near 100th Street SE and French Slough after their car ended up in the high water.

Both were safely removed, and no one was injured.

The road remains closed due to high water levels in the area.
