LAKEWOOD, Wash. — Firefighters rescued a woman who was stuck 35 to 40 feet up in a tree in Lakewood on Friday, tweeted the West Pierce Fire and Rescue at 5:36 p.m.
The woman was stuck near 112th and Klein Street after she set up a ladder to rescue her cat.
After she got the cat, she wasn’t able to get down.
Firefighters were able to assist her safely to the ground with no injuries. She was also able to carry her cat down unharmed.
Crews are clearing the scene near 112th & Klein Street in Lakewood after rescuing a woman 35-40 feet up in a tree. After she set up a ladder to rescue her cat, she was not able to climb down. Crews were able to assist her safely to the ground without injury.
