KIRKLAND, Wash. — Topgolf, a sports entertainment complex, announced on Tuesday its plans to open its first 'TopGolf Lounge' in Kirkland later in 2019.
“This Topgolf Lounge will serve as the entertainment epicenter of the stunning new 'Kirkland Urban' mixed-use complex overlooking Lake Washington,” Topgolf said in a news release.
The 7,761 square-foot location will have four public hitting bays and a private, VIP bay for special events and guests.
"As an extended effort to expand consumer accessibility, Topgolf Lounge locations will be strategically placed in densely populated areas in which larger, full-sized Topgolf venues aren’t sizably feasible," Topgolf said.
Officials said each Topgolf Lounge will have live sports, Full Swing simulators and a broad selection of virtual games, music, food, desserts and cocktails.
“Entertainment choices are evolving at the speed of technology and the Topgolf Lounge concept is on the forefront of the ‘eatertainment’ movement,” said Ron Powers, president of Topgolf Lounge.
