Cars lined the block around a Seattle gas station that celebrated Blue Friday with a flash fuel sale.
Between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Sept. 16, the Shell gas station at 13001 Lake City Way Northeast will had the sale for one hour only.
The 23-cent gas sale was in honor of former Seahawk number 23, Marcus Trufant. Dave Wagner was at the gas station talking to people in line.

"When you hear 23-cent gas, it's a no brainer. Right?" <a href="https://www.facebook.com/DaveKIRO7/videos/1277412598958846/">Trufant said.</a> "I can see about 30 [cars in line]. People are excited. It's Blue Friday."

Gas prices fell 11 of 12 days in the start of September,

Overall gas prices remain lower than last year due to the relatively low price of crude oil with drivers saving an average of 18 cents per gallon compared to a year ago.

The national average price for unleaded gasoline is expected to keep moving lower as we head into fall barring any unexpected disruptions in supply or spikes in the price of crude oil.
Gas prices on the West Coast remain some of the highest in the nation,
[ AAA public relations manager Tamara Johnson writes. ]
The average in Washington state is $2.67.
