Graffiti artist caught on camera. Can you tell Puyallup police who he is?

Graffiti artist caught by surveillance camera near Mama Sortini's restaurant in Puyallup.

The graffiti artist didn’t seem to notice the surveillance camera, but it caught him with his shorts sagging as he penned on a wall with a marker in one hand and his cell phone in the other.

Puyallup police shared three images of the tagger Friday, hoping someone will be able to identify him.

The man is suspected of tagging a wall along Riverwalk Trail near Mama Sortini’s restaurant Aug. 10 but he may be “responsible for much, much more,” police said.

He was shirtless with camaflauge shorts sagging below black boxer briefs. He was also wearing a cream-colored ball cap with a black brim, white belt and white tennis shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Puyallup Police Department’s tip line at 253-770-3343 or email tips@ci.puyallup.wa.us.
