Seattle’s Green Lake iced over from end to end last week – one of only four times in the last 101 years that happened.
And when it did last week, someone slid a dumpster onto the iced-over lake.
On Reddit, commenters thought the blue dumpster was empty. If it was full that'd be too much for the ice to hold, they speculated.
Two previous times Green Lake froze over were in 1916 and 1930.
In 1930, the ice was thick enough for cars to drive over it. But this year, experts say the ice is not strong enough to hold people.
