Renton Fire Authority crews responded to a commercial fire at the Viet Wah Supermarket on the 2800 block of Northeast Sunset Boulevard early Wednesday morning.
Initially dispatched as an “unknown fire,” Engine 312 arrived to find heavy flames from the building.
Command requested a second alarm response to bring additional resources to the scene.
Firefighters were able to knock down the blaze, and searches of the structure found no one inside.
Crews proceeded with overhaul operations to ensure the fire was fully extinguished.
The cause of the fire has not been disclosed, and no injuries have been reported.
