Twenty-five years ago this Sunday, "Frasier," a sitcom set in Seattle, premiered on TV.
The show ran for 11 seasons, airing its final episode on May 13, 2004.
In honor of the sitcom's 25th anniversary, Modsy, an online interior design company, took a look back at Dr. Frasier Crane's iconic Seattle apartment and re-imagined it for 2018.
"Our goal was to honor his style but update it with some modern, high-brow touches that we could see Frasier investing in after years of a successful career," said Alessandra Wood, Modsy's Director of Style. "We're depicting Frasier a good many years after the shows completion, which means Frasier's
career would have remained steady over time and (as we know him) he would have maintained
his roots in his bachelor pad looking over the Seattle skyline."
Modsy shared their images of the 2018 redesign with KIRO 7.

"Frasier’s style in 2018 is really no different than his style in the early 90s. Always a collector of quirky objects and iconic furniture, Frasier’s apartment is familiar but a bit more refined," said Wood.
In memory of Frasier's dad Marty Crane, Modsy included a Milo Baughman recliner from Design Within Reach. Actor John Mahoney, who played Marty Crane, died in February.
"We think Frasier would have selected to stand in place of his father’s trusted, duck-taped armchair," said Wood.

Along with "Frasier," Modsy has reimagined other apartments from the shows "Friends," "Sex and the City" and "Seinfeld."
