High school in Lacey evacuated after bomb threat

LACEY, Wash. — River Ridge High School in Lacey was evacuated on Tuesday after a bomb threat, according to the Lacey Police Department.

Around 9:24 a.m. on March 22, officers received a report indicating there was a bomb at the school.

The caller also provided a series of room numbers.

Officers responded to the school and searched the building, but nothing suspicious was located.

Out of an abundance of caution, the school was evacuated.
