LYNNWOOD, Wash. — A customer was almost struck when a driver crashed through the front of a convenience store Friday night in Lynnwood and fled the scene, police said.
The crash happened in the 16800 block of Highway 99 at a 7 Eleven.
Surveillance video police posted on Twitter showed a car smashing the glass wall of the store, tearing down its front door and coming close to a customer who police said was standing at the counter.

Police said a witness followed the vehicle to the 17600 block of Highway 99. The car was recovered but the suspect got away.
The driver may have been driving under the influence, police said.
