TACOMA, Wash. — The Tacoma Police Department shared video Friday of a bizarre arrest they recently made.
They say a man tried to smuggle 25 pounds of frozen shrimp - among other items - in his shirt:
During a recent operation at 72nd & Pacific, Sgt. Thiry contacted a wanted male. A pat-down revealed $156 in stolen goods—including 25 lbs of frozen shrimp—hidden in his shirt.

It happened on the evening of Jan. 24 at a store on 72nd Street South & Pacific Avenue.
Officers say their pat-down of the man uncovered about $156 in stolen items.
“Targeted enforcement is making a difference in addressing retail theft & crime,” the department wrote.
