TACOMA, Wash. — The Tacoma Police Department shared video Friday of a bizarre arrest they recently made.
They say a man tried to smuggle 25 pounds of frozen shrimp - among other items - in his shirt:
It happened on the evening of Jan. 24 at a store on 72nd Street South & Pacific Avenue.
Officers say their pat-down of the man uncovered about $156 in stolen items.
“Targeted enforcement is making a difference in addressing retail theft & crime,” the department wrote.
