Homeowners tied up and robbed during Lynnwood home invasion

LYNNWOOD, Wash. — Two homeowners were tied up and their home robbed during a home invasion in Lynnwood on Wednesday night, according to the Lynnwood Police Department.

Around 9:40 p.m. on March 16, two suspects shattered a rear glass door in the 16800 block of 55th Place West in Lynnwood.

Once the suspects entered the home, police believe they were surprised to find two people inside.

The suspects tied up the two homeowners and proceeded to steal their electronics, cash and jewelry.

Police say the suspects were wearing ski masks and gloves.

The homeowners did not see any weapons, nor were they threatened with them.

Detectives are investigating several other similar burglaries where homeowners were not home at the time and similar items were taken.

Lynnwood police are asking residents with surveillance footage from the timeframe that may have captured an unfamiliar dark-colored sedan, to contact Detective Sattarov at rsattarov@lynnwoodwa.gov.
